Tetonia lies parallel with the majestic Teton Range along the eastern Idaho border. A whisper from the past carries the color and lure of fur trappers and Indian councils down through the Teton Valley. Today Tetonia carries on traditions of the West, while looking ahead to change and new growth.

A rural community with a population of approximately 250, the city is managed by a mayor, city council, and city clerk. Citizen volunteers support the city’s planning and zoning commission.
